Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs)

1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern the contractual relationship between Château du Pont d’Oye and any person making a booking (hereinafter “the customer”), via the website, by telephone, by email or through any other booking channel.
Any booking implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.

3. Booking

3.1 Terms and conditions

Bookings may be made:
•    online via the official website 
•    by telephone 
•    by email 
•    via partner platforms (OTAs) 
The booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of:
•    a confirmation email 
•    and, where applicable, the payment or the required deposit.

3.2 Capacity

Rooms and accommodation are designed for a specific number of people.
Any additional unregistered guests may be refused entry or charged.

4. Rates

Prices are quoted in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes (TTC), excluding tourist tax.
Tourist tax is payable on arrival.
Rates may vary depending on:
•    the period 
•    availability 
•    the type of offer or promotion 
The best rate is guaranteed on the establishment’s official website.

5. Payment terms

5.1 Accepted payment methods

•    Cash payment on arrival

Some offers may require a non-refundable prepayment.

6. Cancellation and modification terms

Cancellation terms depend on the rate selected at the time of booking.
They are specified:
•    at the time of booking 
•    in the confirmation email 
In the event of late cancellation or no-show, charges may apply.

7. Check-in and check-out

•    Check-in: from 3.00 pm until 9.00 pm 
•    Check-out: by 11.00 am 
A surcharge may apply for:
•    early arrival 
•    late departure 
Subject to availability.

8. Stay

The guest undertakes to use the premises with due care and to comply with the establishment’s house rules.
Any damage may be charged.

9. Pets

Pets are accepted subject to the following conditions:
•    maximum 2 pets per room 
•    supplement applies 
The establishment reserves the right to refuse a pet in the event of inappropriate behaviour.

10. Children

Children are welcome.
Equipment may be provided on request:
•    cot 
•    high chair 
Certain room types are more suitable (family, triple, gîte).

11. Liability

Le Château du Pont d’Oye cannot be held liable:
•    in the event of theft, loss or damage to personal belongings 
•    in the event of force majeure 
•    in the event of disruption beyond its control

12. Force majeure

The establishment cannot be held liable in the event of the contract being unable to be fulfilled due to an event of force majeure (natural disaster, pandemic, etc.).

Any complaints regarding a stay must be submitted within a reasonable timeframe to:

Personal data collected is processed in accordance with the GDPR.
It is used solely for the purposes of managing bookings and customer relations.

15. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Belgian law.
In the event of a dispute, the competent courts shall be those within the jurisdiction of the establishment’s registered office.
